1. Have 3X3X96" or 4"X4"X102" Corner Protectors been used per the approved method? (See step 2)
2. Have three 40"X96" Cardboard Bulkheads been used per the approved method? (See step 2)
3. Ty-Gard Band Height
• Are the bands on both side walls installed at the correct height (40" & 78”)?
• Use the pre-marked height pole to verify
4.. Are The Ty-Gard Bands Parallel To Trailer Floor?
• If bands are not parallel to trailer floor, has the correct height been marked along the trailer sidewall in two locations?
• Was the step ladder used to install the top band?
5. Ty-Gard Band Depth
Does the adhesive start 4o” from the trailer doors?
• If not, was measuring pole used to mark the depth into the trailer?
6. Are there large bubbles under the Ty-Gard band?
• Was the squeegee used to apply pressure?
7. Are the bands falling into the loading area?
• Have the magnets been used to secure the Ty-Gard to the dock door brackets?
8. TDR’s unable to tension band evenly and without wrinkles
• Are the bands parallel to the trailer floor?
• Are the bands on the right and left sidewalls installed at the same height?
• Is the Shock-Gard® pushed up tightly against the cargo?
9. Have 3X3X96" Corner Protectors been used per the approved method?
10. Have three 40"X96" Cardboard Bulkheads been used per the approved method?
11. Are the bands Slack after applying Ty-Patch?
• Did TDR apply sufficient tension to the lower Ty-Gard band?
• Did TDR apply Ty-Patch first to the left side of the tool, then to the right before tacking down?
12. Acceptable Amount of Overlap
• There should not be more than a 4” differential between the height of the Ty-Gard bands on the right and left side of the trailer side wall
14.. Did the TDR Build the corner boards into the last Wall?
